Windows - Recommended Energy Settings to Receive ITS-Provided Updates

Action

Update your computer's energy settings in order for your on-campus Windows computer to receive ITS-provided updates outside of work hours to minimize work disruptions.

Instructions

  1. Right-click the Windows Start button:
    Window Button
  2. Left-click on System:
    System option
  3. On the left panel, click Power & Sleep.
  4. Choose the Never option from the dropdown under "When plugged in, PC goes to sleep after":
