Action

To connect to UAlbany WiFi on a Windows Phone, follow the instructions below.

Windows Phone is no longer supported. Any devices still running Windows Phone should be upgraded or replaced.

Instructions

In the App List, select Settings.
Within Settings, tap WiFi.
Ensure that your phone is toggled to allow WiFi Networking to be ON.
From the list of available WiFi networks, tap UAlbanyWiFi.
You will then be prompted to enter your Username and password.
In the Username field, enter your UAlbany NetID.
In the password field, enter your password.
After you have entered your NetID and password, tap Done.
You may need to verify a security certificate in order to connect to the network. To do so, click Accept, and then click Done.
You are now connected to UAlbanyWiFi.
A WiFi icon will now be present at the top of your Windows Phone device indicating a successful connection.
