Access a Team in Another Organization

Action

To access a Team that is hosted by another organization outside of UAlbany, you will have to change organizations within Teams.

Instructions

  1. Click your picture at the top right of Teams, and select another organization below:

  2. This will let you interact with that organization's Teams, but you won't see your UAlbany Teams until you repeat that process to return to the University at Albany - SUNY organization.

If you need to access both the external Team and your UAlbany Teams content at the same time, you can visit https://teams.microsoft.com in a web browser and log in there. 

Once logged in there, change to the other organization in the browser version of Teams the same way as above, and interact with that there.
