  1. Search for "Teams" in your Windows start menu

  2. Look for the app titled Microsoft Teams (work or school):


  3. Pin this version to your taskbar for easy access:

Hide the Unnecessary "Chat" Icon

You can easily hide the "Chat" icon on your taskbar:

  1. Right-click on any empty space on your taskbar.

  2. Select Taskbar settings.

  3. In the Taskbar settings menu, locate the option labeled Chat.
