Checking S: Drive Quota

Action

To check the storage usage and quota limit for your S: Drive space, follow the instructions below for your method of accessing it. These steps assume a connection to your S: Drive space (see File Storage - S: Drive for instructions).

There is a known issue with this process. The quota currently shown via these methods is not accurate.

Instructions

 

Windows

  1. Open Windows Explorer.

  2. Click Computer or This PC.

  3. This will display the space used and available for all your drives, including the S: Drive.

Mac

  1. Open Finder.

  2. Under Shared select storage.albany.edu.

  3. Select the folder with your NetID.

  4. Once in your folder, while holding down the Control button, click in the empty white space.  A new window will appear.  Select Get Info.

  5. You can then determine the amount of space you have available.
