Working with an Equipment Calendar

Action

An equipment calendar is a resource calendar used to reserve equipment; such as a projector, microphone, portable computer or device etc.

Equipment calendars are similar to room calendars, but used only for equipment. Users can reserve the equipment by including the equipment mailbox in a meeting request.

These instructions will reserve the equipment on the equipment calendar only. To include attendees and allow the reservation to be viewed on the attendees' calendar, you must specify the attendees in the appointment.

Instructions

  1. Click on the resource calendar.

  2. Click New Appointment.

  3. Enter a subject for your appointment in the Subject: field.

  4. You may enter a location in the Location: field.

  5. Select the time that you wish to reserve the equipment.

  6. Click Save & Close to reserve the equipment and time.
