UAlbany Mail - Share your Inbox folder
Action
To share your Inbox folder with another UAlbany Mail user, there are two options:
Add the other person as a delegate on your account with Inbox access (details available at Delegating access to all or part of the mailbox (Inbox or Calendar))
Share your Inbox folder with the individual using folder permissions (details under "Share Inbox folder using folder permissions", below)
There are varying levels of access possible as described at Explanation of folder permission levels in UAlbany Mail.
To access shared folders from another UAlbany Mail user, you can either open it each time you want to access (File > Open & Export > Other User's Folder) or add it to your list of folders (UAlbany Mail - Add a shared mailbox in Outlook (alternative method)). To enable the second method, whether set by delegate or sharing permissions, the mailbox must have an additional sharing setting (details under Set permissions to allow adding the shared mailbox to Outlook, below).
