Maple Installation Instructions (Student Use)

Action

To install Maple software on your student personal computer, follow the instructions below.

Instructions

Pre-Installation

  1. Check the System Requirements for your operating system.

  2. Log on as an administrator or log on to an account, with appropriate read and write privileges, that will own the Maple files.

  3. Ensure that you are connected to the Internet. If your computer does not have an Internet connection, please contact your distributor or Maplesoft customer service.

  4. Check your video card driver requirements. For more information, see Verifying Video Card Driver Requirements.

  5. Close all programs.

  6. Download Maple Software here

Install Maple 2020 (Windows)

  1. Double-click Maple2020WindowsX64Installer.exe from where you downloaded the file.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  3. In the Choose The Type of Licensing screen, select Single User License .

  4. When prompted, enter the purchase code (2020-2021 Activation Code: QED7XRWDMX7VYE8C) and the required information to complete activation.

  5. If you activated successfully, you are ready to use Maple 2020. If you had problems activating or chose not to activate during the installation, see Activating Single User Versions.

Install Maple 2020 (MacOS)

  1. Double-click Maple2020MacInstaller.dmg from where you downloaded the file, then double-click Maple2020MacInstaller.

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

  3. In the Choose The Type of Licensing screen, select Single User License .

  4. When prompted, enter the purchase code (2020-2021 Activation Code: QED7XRWDMX7VYE8C) and the required information to complete activation.

  5. If you activated successfully, you are ready to use Maple 2020. If you had problems activating or chose not to activate during the installation, see Activating Single User Versions.
