Subscribing to a LISTSERV list

To subscribe to a Listserv list that allows self-subscribing, follow the instruction below.
Instructions
From the account where you wish to receive list messages, send an email to listserv@listserv.albany.edu with a blank subject and the command "subscribe <list name>" in the body (the quotes and <> are not included when sending the message). There should be no other text (signatures, etc.), in the email body.
Example
This page is only applicable if the list is set up to allow individuals to subscribe themselves. Otherwise, you need to contact the list owner to subscribe.
