Additional information

Currently, there is no supported way to add a Departmental Mailbox to a mobile device's native mail program.  However, there is a workaround to access a Departmental Mailbox via your device's browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.):

  1. Log into mail.albany.edu 

  2. Request the desktop version of the site (via long hold on the new tab icon) 

  3. Log into the Departmental Mailbox.  

  4. Once you do that, the URL will be something like the following (substitute your mailbox alias for MAILBOXALIAS)
    https://outlook.office.com/mail/MAILBOXALIAS@albany.edu/inbox

  5. Alternatively, copy and paste that above address, substituting your Departmental Mailbox alias (the part before @albany.edu) for MAILBOXALIAS, and then log in as yourself, and you will be brought right to the mailbox.
