Installing Outlook for Mac

Action

To install Outlook on a Mac (as part of M365 apps/Office), follow the instructions below.

Microsoft 365 apps will run on the newest and previous two versions of macOS.  If your Mac is running an earlier version, you will need to upgrade in order to install M365  If you cannot upgrade, you can access your UAlbany Mail in Outlook on the web in a web browser at https://mail.albany.edu. 

Instructions

  1. Follow the instructions on Install Microsoft Office 365 Apps on a Personally-Owned Device to download and install Microsoft 365 apps (a.k.a. “Microsoft Office”).

  2. Once you complete the installation, Activate Microsoft 365 Apps to be able to use it.
