Batch Indexing - Web Client

This guide offers instructions on batch indexing documents that have already been scanned into OnBase from using the Unity Client. The Web Client does not offer the option to scan documents in batches, this can only be done using the Unity Client.




Batch Indexing



1. Open the Navigation Menu to access the Batch Indexing tool



2. Select the appropriate scan queue where your files have been sent to. 

a. Most documents requiring indexing will be in the Awaiting Index or Index in Progress document queues.



3. Once in proper scan queue:

a. Left click on the document batch to be indexed
b. Select Index Documents.

c. Start Indexing:

1. Select Document Type

2. Select Document Date

3. Use Student Bio Lookup

4. Fill in additional Keywords (Program Term, Admit Term etc...)

Note: When assigning the same Keywords to documents within a batch in the Web Client you can simply click on the lock icon to lock-in the keyword you entered for one of the documents, and once locked-in you can simply move on to the next document and hit Index while keyword is still locked.

5. Once Keywords have been filled in you can click on the Index button to  move onto the next document
