Desk Phone Quick Reference Guide
Answering & Ending a Call
Lift handset or press the Answer softkey to answer a call
Hang-up handset or press the End Call softkey to end a call
Redial a Number
Press the Redial softkey (radials, last call placed / received / missed)
Lift the handset and press the Navigation Pad to select a number from your call history.
Hold and Resume a Call
To put a call on hold, press the Hold button
. The Hold icon displays and the line button pulses green.
To resume a call from hold, press the flashing green Line button, Resume, or Hold button.
Transfer a Call
From an active call, press Transfer button
.
Enter the transfer recipient’s phone number.
Press Transfer again (before or after the party answers). The transfer completes.
View Call History
Press the Application button
Press 1 for Recent
Your phone displays the last 150 missed, placed, and received calls.
To view details for a call, scroll to the call, press More […], and then press Details.
Conference
To Start a Conference:
From an active call, press Conference button
Make a new call
Press Conference button again (before or after the party answers). The conference begins and the phone displays “Conference”.
Repeat these steps to add more participants.
The conference ends when all participants hang up.
To View and Remove Participants:
During a conference, press […] then press Show Details.
To remove a participant from the conference, scroll to the participant and press Remove
Directories
Press the Contacts button
Scroll and select a directory
Use your keypad to input search criteria
Press Submit
To dial, scroll to a listing and press Dial
Message Waiting Indicator (MWI)
Solid red light on your handset, indicates you have a voicemail message.
Retrieving Your Voice Messages
Press the Voicemail button
and follow the voice prompts
From any phone on campus dial 23305 and follow the voice prompts
