Activating Outlook for Mac

Action

To activate Outlook on a Mac, follow the instructions below.

Instructions

You must first download and install Outlook for Mac before you can activate Microsoft Outlook for Mac.

 

  1. Open Outlook.

  2. Click Sign In:



  3. Enter your full UAlbany Mail email address and click Next:



  4. Choose Work or school account:



  5. Sign in with your UAlbany Mail address or NetID and password:



  6. Complete your 2-step authentication.

  7. Outlook will look for licenses:



  8. Choose your Office theme and click Continue:



  9. Click Start Using Outlook:



  10. Outlook may prompt you to add your email account.  Click the blue button to Add it:



  11. Click Done to start using Outlook.
