Your Zoom display name uses your preferred name from UAlbany records (MyUAlbany/Registrar/Human Resources).

To change your preferred name, you can use the following methods:

  • Employees: Go to Human Resource's process at https://www.albany.edu/hr/preferred-name.php to send an email message to HR to request the change in your Preferred Name

  • Students: Log in to MyUAlbany and click Personal Identification Change Form in the Other Links box to update your Name
