UAlbany Mail - Automatic Reply
Action
To set an auto-reply or out of office message in your UAlbany Mail account using Outlook on the web (OWA), follow the steps below.
Instructions
- Log into Outlook Web App
- Click the gear icon at the top right and then choose Automatic replies.
- Next, check the radio button for Send Automatic Replies and set the appropriate options you desire:
- Send replies only during this time period
- Add your actual message
- Send automatic reply messages to senders outside my organization
- Deselect the option if you only want the auto-reply message sent to @albany.edu senders
- Select the option and indicate whether to ...
- Include only senders in your personal contact list along with @albany.edu senders, or
- Send auto-reply to all external senders
- Click Save and the Automatic Replies option is enabled in your mailbox.
