Access and Compliance Agreement (ACA) FAQ

What is the Access and Compliance Agreement (ACA)?

The Access and Compliance Agreement identifies expectations for working with University systems and data.

Who has to sign the Access and Compliance Agreement?

Any member of the campus community with a role other than student will need to accept the ACA.

Why do I have to re-authenticate to all my devices once I sign the ACA?

When the ACA is activated it invalidates all O365 authentication tokens on all devices you are signed in to. In order to re-validate the token you must sign-in again.

I already signed in on my device, but now it wants me to sign in again. Why?

O365 Applications, such as Teams and Office, may use different authentication tokens. This means you will have to re-validate each one, which may require signing in again.

I signed into my devices, but some applications still are not connecting.

Please completely close out of the application and try signing in again.

How often will I need to resign the ACA?

You will need to resign the ACA once a year.
