Retrieving Your PIN
No longer have access to the personal email address where your PIN was being sent?
Please reach out to the appropriate office below to have your personal email address updated.
If you are a new undergraduate student, please contact Admissions
If you are a new Graduate Student, please contact Graduate Admissions
If you are a non-matriculated student, or a visiting student please contact General Studies
If you are an Employee, Volunteer or Emeritus, Please do the following:
Human Resources - Contact University at Albany HR (State HR, Volunteer, Emeritus) and provide your personal email address, then use the Self Service PIN Retrieval to request your PIN.
Research HR - Contact RF HR and provide your personal email address, then use the Self-Service PIN Retrieval to request your PIN.
Action’s
Retrieve your PIN which will allow you to Set Your Password to activate your account.
Retrieve your PIN which will allow you to Get a Duo Bypass Code to complete your Duo Authentication.
Instructions for Retrieving your PIN
Navigate to Get PIN.
Enter your SSN or Albany ID, DOB and Select ‘Next’

Please note, it can take up to fifteen minutes to receive your PIN to your personal email that is on record. Once the request is made, you will receive a confirmation to your UAlbany Email address.

After 15 minutes, if you still have not received your PIN, please check your JUNK or SPAM mail folder.
