1. Request a Hardware Token

No Smart phone? No problem. Ask ITS for a free Hardware Token. 

If you don't have a Smart phone, or your device doesn't support the Duo Mobile app, ask ITS for a Hardware Token. It's a small, portable device that can be attached to your key chain and used to access campus IT services. Follow these simple steps to get your Hardware Token. 

  • Request a hardware token by submitting an ITS Service Desk Request

  • ITS will contact you and determine the best way to provide you with your Hardware Token

  • ITS will provide you with temporary access to campus IT services until you receive your Hardware Token

  • Get Started: Enroll in 2-Step with Duo using your new Hardware Token

  • Keep your Hardware Token safe and secure.

Your Hardware Token is assigned to you. It will only work with your NetID and password and cannot be used by others. If it is misplaced, broken, or stolen, it must be disabled immediately. Contact the ITS Service Desk for assistance.

2.  Duo Hardware Token Use

Once you have been approved and issued a Duo hardware token, please follow the instructions on how to utilize a Duo hardware token.
